Is GoPro really in trouble?

GoPro has reported it will cut a further 15% of its workforce (around 200 positions) following a 7% cut back in January this year. Company President Tony Bates will also be leaving the company it’s reported.

Go Pro has had a difficult few years maintaining sales with a two-year gap between the release of Hero 4 and the Hero 5 – and the recall of its Karma drone in September after some models “lost power during operation” certainly didn’t help.

The company has also seen its stock price drop dramatically this year. The Hero 5 is reported to have sold well with Black Friday sales up 35% on the previous year but is it too little too late?
