COMING SOON – ELECTROLUX PURE F9
Dyson’s V10 won’t have the New Zealand market all to itself, once Electrolux rolls out its latest contender in the cordless space, the Pure F9 vacuum (above).
Pure F9 uses powerful battery technology and innovative design solutions to provide consumers with a product that combines the performance of a traditional vacuum cleaner with the freedom of a stick vacuum.
This is thanks in part to the powerful battery in this new model which has been designed to clean an entire home on a single charge.
Design-wise, the flexible main unit can shift position up or down and, together with a pull-out hose, makes it easy to get under furniture and other hard-to-reach places.
Thanks to its ergonomic design, the vacuum is light in the hand, can be adjusted to fit the user’s height, as well as stand on its own in an upright position anywhere.
Suction power also adjusts automatically to the surface being vacuumed, whether hard floors or carpet.
No official word yet as to the availability of Pure F9 in New Zealand but we will, of course, keep you posted.
DYSON REVEALS 360 HEURIST ROBOVAC
September saw Dyson reveal its next generation robot vacuum, the 360 Heurist.
Although information is limited for now, this update of Dyson’s 360 Eye robot brings with it several improvements including a new 20 times faster processor, voice assistant capabilities and increased bristles, suction power and runtime.
The 360 Heurist also has an LED ring around its top camera allowing it to see for itself in the dark.
EMPTY YOURSELF FOR ONCE
The latest addition to the Roomba stable is the i7+ Robot Vacuum with Clean Base Automatic Dirt Disposal (right).
This unit is the first to automatically empty itself into an enclosed, disposable bag that holds 30 robot bins so users don’t have to think about vacuuming for weeks at a time.
The 3-Stage Cleaning System uses Dual Multi-Surface Rubber Brushes and 10X suction to clean different floor surfaces throughout a home.
The i7+ robot also learns, maps and adapts to homes using its Imprint Smart Mapping technology, letting users control which rooms are cleaned and when, using the iRobot HOME App.
