22 October 2013: Key personnel movements and announcements from around the appliance and CE channel. The very latest movers & shakers include key personnel announcements from Haier, Canon and Breville.
Sally Rowe has recently joined the Haier NZ team as Central North Island Area Manager. Sally comes with a wealth of experience in kitchen design and appliances, both from a retail perspective as well as sales. Her most recent role was Account manager for Parmco Sales covering the Auckland and Northland area. Sally is well respected in the industry and Haier NZ is extremely excited to have her on board. Troy Scragg adds: "We also wish to thank everyone for their support and patience whilst Aaron has been overseeing the territory during Sally’s integration into the business."
Kieran Hoolihan is the new Product Manager – Technical Print Specialist, Consumer Imaging at Canon New Zealand. He will lead the development of product strategy and execution for Canon’s consumer inkjet range; driving category growth, distribution and revenue through marketing opportunities and customer engagement. Kim Conner, General Manager – Consumer Imaging at Canon New Zealand, explains Kieran brings a wealth of experience to the team from his previous positions at Samsung, Huawei Technologies and most recently Brother NZ.
Lynne Cusack is Breville's second new National Accounts Manager (see below). Brett O’Neill, Breville Managing Director, says: “We are very pleased to have a professional sales person of Lynne’s calibre join our team. Lynne brings a wealth of appliance industry experience to the role and is well known to leading retailers. We look forward to her contribution towards another exciting year at Breville with the release of new premium designed appliances this Christmas.” Lynne was formerly Key Account Manager at Sunbeam New Zealand.
