Sony Xplod in-car audio receivers
15 June 2012: Three new Sony Xplod in-car audio receivers are designed to integrate seamlessly with smartphones to deliver rich audio, video, navigation and more. The three units (XAV-701BT, XAV-64BT and XAV-63) offer enhanced iPod/iPhone control, a wide range of smartphone and USB connectivity options, multi-channel surround sound. A new Passenger App Control also allows users to connect an iPod or iPhone via USB to display their favourite TV shows, movies, and compatible applications on the high-quality WVGA displays. Bluetooth connectivity on the XAV-701BT and XAV-64BT with an external microphone completes the package, enabling true hands-free calling while driving. For the best sound, each receiver uses Sony’s Advanced Sound Engine with full digital processing and Virtual 5.1 to deliver powerful surround sound.
