31 July 2012: First off, Canon launches its latest addition to the EOS DSLR range – the new Canon EOS M. Its first mirrorless interchangeable lens model will launch with two new specially designed lenses – the EF-M 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS STM standard zoom lens and the EF-M 22mm f/2 STM ultra compact pancake lens – along with the ability to use the full line of Canon EF and EF-S lenses through an optional Mount Adapter.

Then there is a new flagship addition to the entry-level EOS digital SLR camera range – the EOS 650D. The EOS 650D introduces quality and performance enhancements to suit hobbyists, while easy-to-use functions allow photography newcomers to take the shots that only a DSLR camera can achieve. For the first time in an entry-level EOS, the AF system adopts a nine-point all cross-type array for superior focusing performance through the viewfinder. The EOS 650D also features an 18 Megapixel CMOS sensor with fast 4 channel read-out, and the new DiG!C 5 image processor.

And finally, the SELPHY CP900 is Canon’s latest printer. The compact SELPHY CP900 makes it easy to print lab-quality photos quickly at home or wherever the action takes place. When paired with a Wi-Fi enabled digital compact camera, the CP900 is ideal for instant photo printing.
