17 July 2012: Garmin has launched five new personal navigation devices (PNDs) in New Zealand.

Offering both sleek design and robust navigation, the new devices, from Garmin’s nüvi 2000 and 3000 series, will also offer free NAVTEQ lifetime map updates, reinforcing the steadfast promise made by the brand earlier this year that consumers will “never buy maps again”.

The nüvi 2000 and 3000 series are powered by Garmin’s robust new navigation engines, Guidance 2.0 and 3.0 respectively, which will offer a more intuitive user interface than before, as well as a host of new features including speed limit indicators, 3D terrain and automatic dual orientation to enhance your driving experience, no matter the journey.
