Monday 09 January: Oh to be in Las Vegas in January... Clean air, sunshine and toys and gadgets galore.
The year's first big industry event, the 2012 Consumer Electronics Show (CES), kicks off in Vegas on Tuesday 10 January.
Over the week of the show (10-13 January), we will be updating Wares.co.nz with links and short stories to direct you towards key news, events and announcements as well as some of the more insightful reporting from around the world.
From what we can see so far, although there's been quite a bit of media cynicism (when isn't there?), particularly focused on whether it's actually worth being at the show in person (as opposed to trawling the net for the latest info), this year's CES show looks like it'll do the usual, that is act as a major launch platform for the latest technology and products.
