Fisher & Paykel launches in India
14 February 2012: Fisher & Paykel Appliances is entering the Indian market.
At a launch event in Delhi in December, the global leadership team of Fisher & Paykel along with New Zealand High Commissioner, Her Excellency Mrs Jan Henderson, showcased the premium brand to top architects and designers, celebrities and senior executives of the corporate world.

Fisher & Paykel has opened a Liaison Office in New Delhi and relocated Sanjeev Wadhwa, a seasoned professional with over 18 years of experience across Asia, from its Singapore office as Country Manager for India.
The company will be entering the market with 59 high-end appliances targeted at the premium segment. In the first phase, the Fisher & Paykel brand is being introduced in the National Capital Region including Delhi (22+ million people!), Ludhiana, Jullundur and Chandigarh (said to be India’s richest city) and will expand into other markets over time. The brand will be launching its complete range of built-in kitchen appliances including ovens, rangehoods, hobs, dishwashers, coffee maker, refrigerators, washing machines and dryers, as well as its DishDrawer dishwashers and CoolDrawer refrigerators.
