JVC celebrates 30 years of in-car entertainment
12 July 2012: This year, JVC Mobile Entertainment is celebrating 30 years of providing innovative technology and incomparable products on the move.
Launched in 1982, JVC Mobile Entertainment has continued to enhance the in-car experience, with a focus on bridging music, lifestyle, and technology to meet the needs of the evolving mobile consumer.
“We recognise that our consumer is ever-changing and we are proud of what we have accomplished for them over the last 30 years. We are excited to continue meeting the needs of our customers as technology changes how they experience life in their cars“ says Mike Graham, Category Manager for JVC NZ.
In 1982, JVC launched into the mobile entertainment market with the release of three in-dash shaft cassette radios: the KSR3, KSR5, and KSR7.
30 years later, the product offerings have expanded into a full line of CD, Digital Media, Multimedia and Navigation receivers; plus a full assortment of speakers, sub woofers and amplifiers.
JVC’s 2012 lineup features the latest in technology including advanced Bluetooth technology and Smartphone compatibility including iPhone, Android and Blackberry.
To celebrate its 30th anniversary, JVC is giving JVC Mobile Entertainment customers the chance to win a share of $30,000 in prizes. The competition is running through participating JVC Mobile Entertainment dealers from 16 July until 2 September 2012.
